The most amazing pastries, the raspberry danish is to die for!!! On top of that the owners are the nicest people I’ve ever met! So so good!!!
Been getting goodies from Streusel since their earliest days at Square Kitchen! They’ve gotten better and better. You must get the sticky buns, and pre-order their pies at the holidays. The test kitchen is AMAZING for pandemic times, lots of ventilated space and I can safely pick up pastries in the morning. An absolute must-do in SLC.
It took a second to find the shop location. They share the shop and the sign isn’t huge. But the food was delicious!!! We literally bought one of everything to try! Some of the savory pastries were a little salty in my mind, but my friend thought they were amazing. The sweet pastries are very rich and perfect for sharing. I’m not sure I could finish a whole one in one sitting.
It's expensive and the hours are strange but it's worth it. The breakfast pastry with an egg is delicious. My kids love the apple streusel as well.
service is always timely even when they have a full house.
This shop is an example of when a great little farmers market bakery does well and expands! We REALLY needed these guys to have a shop, year round, because their pastries are so soft and flavorful that it's ALWAYS hard to choose just ONE! While my sweet tooth usually takes over my taste buds, I just can't seem to get enough of Streusel SLC's savory pastries, especially their Triple CHEEEEESE Roll!!! It has cream cheese schmear, thick bacon pieces and a good helping of cheesy toppings! I mean...move over breakfast sandwiches, cuz you've got some competition! Their Breakfast Roll is my next favorite (can you tell that I love breakfast foods and pastries! Lol). They also have other amazing pastries, that you'll just have to check them out for yourselves! They now located in the Comcom Kitchen, next to Marisa's Fashion, right at the front there, so you can't miss them! ;)
Great location to meet with friends. I've had nothing but great experiences here and will keep coming back.
Don’t have any photos to share because the food was so good we couldn’t wait to chow it down. Got the Spinach Ricotta and the Raspberry Danish both were incredibly fluffy and excellent.
it was so delicious. fast, efficient, and courteous service.
Saw the article in the SLC Tribune. We had seen them last year at the downtown Farmer's market. They are absolutely great. Picked up a baked egg/cheddar pastry, a bacon pastry and the apple pie pastry for breakfast. Mouth watering, tummy filling perfection.
Peach danish was delicious! Can't wait to come back.
Not bad, but not great. I was hoping for a little more based off of the reviews. Our pastries were a little dry and tasted like they were maybe day old. The huckleberry scone was good, but same as above. It was slightly dry and tasted like it was older. My family did like the cookies. A few of them were under baked (dough in the middle still). My son and husband gave them an 8 rating. Overall, we thought it was ok. Won’t go out of our way to get it again.
unbelievably good!!! do yourself a favor and get the breakfast roll, it’s perfect !!
I've adored everything I've tried from Streusel. Consistently incredible flavors and baking. Their pastry is flaky, crisp, yet soft in all the right places, never dry or overdone. I'm a huge fruit fan, and both their raspberry and peach pastries are incredible. As Prue from the Great British Bake Off says: "It's worth the calories!" Their new storefront will be a regular stop of mine whenever I need something perfect to make my day.
I have never had anything from Streusel that I didn’t crave the next day. I found them a few years ago at the farmers market and am so excited they have a store front! The spinach and artichoke brioche is by far my favorite but I love that they mix things up seasonally. If you’re they’re when they’re offering something peach, GET IT. You know the peaches are fresh and local and it will be heavenly.
Finally!! Don't miss this. SLC has an amazing bakery!!! Thank you Streusel!!!
Unbelievable cookies. Don’t miss out!
So good! We had a raspberry cream cheese Danish and it was to die for! I just finished eating it and I'm ready for another!
SIMPLY, THE BEST. The best customer service, the best tasting baked goods, and the best experience...every time. So fortunate that they’re in SLC, which allows me to indulge on a weekly basis. From the brioche to the bagels to the cookies and beyond - we are always blown away by the uniqueness and creativity within their products. Their baked goods are made with love, y’all, so support your local businesses and treat yourself!
I love Streusel SLC. Their baked goods are to die for ?. In a market like Utah where there are so many baked good shops, Streusel SLC is my all time favorite. Their recipes are innovative, fresh and the flavors are phenomenal. I have visited them on Sundays at the Square Kitchen food fair market and it has become my new Sunday Brunch tradition. Definitely support them and try some of their baked goods. Some of my favorites are their homemade Dulce de Leche Coffee Cake, Rasberry bread pudding, Cinnamon rolls and fresh bagels. Definitely check them out on social media to see where they are selling their delicious baked treats ?.
The raspberry pastry twists are my favorite!!
This place is a baked goods and breakfast game changer! Their macrons are completely irresistible! I also love their breakfast stuffed rolls and baguettes! Their popups are quickly becoming my favorite party of the weekend.
Went to one of their pop ups and I have to say, I loved everything we tried. The cookie was amazing and so was the blondie. Can't wait to go back and try more things.
I went to a pop up here a few weeks ago and I still can’t stop thinking about those delicious chocolate chip cookies. I mean I can’t stop thinking about every single delicious pastrie bread and pie. The food was so good in fact I ordered more for my Christmas dinner because I know the dessert will be top notch from streusel. If you find an opportunity to try this bakery don’t walk... run...
Wow! I loved all their pastries and can’t wait to go again on December 22.
